The Key was machined from brass. June 12, 2011 A Snake-Through-The Keyhole drawing. May 31, 2011 The Snake-Through-The-Keyhole was the last design for the hinge to be made as it took me months to arrive at the concept. I needed to have a symbol that would portray the abuse of power - The snake obstructing the keyhole- obstructing the key of the entrance into heaven. This was the first try at sculpting the Lamb. I wasn't happy with it and continued to try and evoke an innocent lamb with a sweet demeanor. This is the Lamb I was happy with that was cast in brass from a silicone mold. The brass-cast Lamb just fresh out of its mold. July 2011 These are the clay designs baking in my home oven: The Lamb, The Cross and the Snake-Through-the- Keyhole. June 5, 2011 Positioning the Sacred Heart on the brass plate that fitted into the hinge. My first drawing for the handle for the confessional. October 2010 The four handles with the words, SILENCE, SHAME, BETRAYAL and SIN. The letters were machined out of brass and hand-hammered to fit flush on the curve of the handle . September 8, 2011 The four handles and back-plates successfully cast and ready for nickel-plating. July 29, 2011 Back to The making of – Bless Me Child For I Have Sinned
